Hello and welcome to Passports and Papers!

I’m Mercedes, a born and raised Angeleno with a proud Cuban-American heritage who loves creating content. I earned a B.A. in Journalism&Mass Communication from ASU’s Walter Cronkite School and have worked for some of the top brands such as Disney, NBCUniversal, and Airbnb. I love to write and share my experiences both near and far.

I love travel (PASSPORTS) and scrapbooking (PAPER), now do you get it? Most of my scrapbook pages are about my travels and most of my free time is consumed by planning trips, crafting, and spending time with my loved ones.

I’d like to especially thank my parents for encouring me to follow my dreams, my brothers for being my sounding board and my husband for traveling the world with me.
