🍽️ All the Delicious Bites We Enjoyed in New Orleans

  • French Truck Coffee – Our go-to for strong coffee and pastries.
  • Fleur de Lis – Charming brunch spot above the noise of the French Quarter.
  • Café du Monde – Legendary beignets and chicory coffee in the French Quarter. Remember- CASH ONLY!
  • Mammoth Espresso – Excellent espresso by the WWII Museum (we forgot a photo because there was so much rain, but we came back for coffee the next day).
  • Bearcat Baked – Custom biscuit breakfast sandwiches that stole our hearts.
  • Gumbo Shop – Cozy spot for classic gumbo in the French Quarter.
  • Empanola – Love a pun, this was also a great snack stop.
  • French Truck Coffee – Yes, second visit!
  • Oak Alley Plantation Shop – Where we indulged in pecan pralines & ice cream, made by Blue Bell Creameries IYKYK.
  • Joey K’s – Southern comfort fried chicken in the Garden District.
  • Napoleon House – Final lunch with an iconic muffuletta.

🏆 Top 3 Must-Try Spots in New Orleans

If your schedule only allows for a few stops, don’t miss our favorite spots:

1. Bearcat Baked
Their biscuit breakfast sandwiches and sweet treats made us want to move in. A simple atmosphere perfect for a lazy morning and good matcha lattes!

2. Napoleon House
Dating back to 1797, this historic landmark serves the city’s best muffuletta, a large Italian inspired sandwich with various meats, cheeses, and a tapeded style olive mix stacked high. It’s a New Orleans classic, known for its combination of salty, briny, and savory flavors and it paired perfectly with the classic southern sides.

3. Gumbo Shop – This cozy spot for classic gumbo in the French Quarter.
