Past Papers: HWY 1 Road Trip Scrapbook

Highway 1 Road Trip

I finally picked some photos from our summer road trip up Pacific Coast Highway to highlight in this California scrapbook page.

The drive up was slightly gloomy, but still breathtaking. Though the sky looked slightly dull in my photos the colors from the ocean and hills were still bright. So I knew that the paper needed to pull the hidden colors in the photos. I had this lemon paper I bought at Joann’s sitting around. I thought this paper was fun even though California has nothing to do with lemons.

I used my Cricut (no surprise there) to make the letters and the lemon cut out. If you’ve never read one of my crafting articles, then you don’t know that I am obsessed with my Cricut. I use it every time I make something. Check out the video below to see what I did in the Cricut Design space:

This simple page didn’t take long to create. I knew which three photos I wanted to use and that I couldn’t crop them too much so I stuck with a less is more approach.
