I finally got around to sitting at my crafting table to actually craft. Half the time I sit here to work from home, so it was nice to change it up. For whatever reason, I am an extremely slow scrapper. I print the photos and then I tend to take too long to choose a layout. However, I usually choose the general paper and color scheme quickly. It sometimes takes me days to do one page just because I am so indecisive.
For this Joshua Tree page I kept going back and forth about making it one page or two because I liked so many of the photos. Exhibit A:

And I kept playing with how I wanted the photos. Exhibit B:

The final design I went with was this one page layout below. I embraced the busyness of the playful paper, added arrow stickers, and pulled the coral out of the polka dot print as the accent color. Resulting in:
